Hazal Kaya is a Turkish actress, she is born in Istanbul, Turkey. She was born on 1 October 1990 and she is now 31 years old. She is of Turkish nationality. She completed her education at Istanbul Bilgi University.

Hazal Kaya came to the limelight with her performance in a TV serial called Adını Feriha Koydum (2011–2012) where she was playing the role of Feriha Sarrafoglu. And later on, she played Filiz character role in Bizim Hikaye (inspired by the British TV show Shameless) (2017–2019). Where Burak Deniz was also the cast of that TV series.

Kaya was born in the Turkish city of Istanbul. She went to Gaziosmanpaşa Elementary School and completed her graduation from the Liceo Italiano di Istanbul in 2009. Now she has enrolled again for her higher studies at Istanbul Bilgi University. Hazel Kaya’s mother and father both are a lawyer and but they are separated when Kaya was only 7 years old.

She got into the acting world when she was very young, and she loved ballet & Violin and learned for 7 years. She speaks 3 languages Native language Turkish, English & Italian fluently. She also learning the 4^th language German.

In 2006 her acting career started, Genco was thefirst TV series, where she played the role of Özge (Gülay Erkaya). Then in 2008 Kaya played a character role of Nihal Ziyagil in a modernization era of the novel Aşk-ı Memnu, it was written by Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil.

Kaya’s debut in a film came in 2011 in Selçuk Aydemir’s movie called Çalgı Çengi, and then she took lessons from Alya in theatre acting. Hazel Kaya also joined a Modern Acting Techniques Workshop and took acting lessons from Ümit Çırak.

Kaya played the main role, Feriha Sarrafolu, in the first two seasons of the TV serial Adn Feriha Koydum (2011). She was recognized as a Feriah Star Girl, she received recognition from that series.

Where her character was playing the role of porter’s daughter who was caught between two worlds. She then fell in love with the most famous student at her university he was a handsome and rich boy “Emir Sarrafoğlu” (Çağatay Ulusoy).

The series went skyrocketing was telecasted in most of the countries like the USA, India, Pakistan, UK, etc. where she received a lot of love from all over the world. The series received the highest TV rating in Turkey.

Then with a surprise to everyone, she was seen with her mother in a TV commercial called Bingo. There was a bad time for Hazel Kaya 2012 & 2013 after Adını Feriha Koydum in late 2012 he has appeared in a new serial called Son Yaz Balkanlar 1912, she was cast as Emine, but the series had to end due to a low rating. Then in 2013, she played the role of Azra Özak, a tennis coach in A.Ş.K series. That series too had to end after airing 13 episodes.

Hazel Kaya appeared back on TV in 2015 with Maral: En Güzel Hikayem, opposite Aras Bulut İynemli. Where she played a leading role Maral Erdem. Kaya’s latest TV series is ongoing Bizim Hikaye (in English: Our Story), where the series is influenced by the American TV series Shameless. Kaya played Filiz Elibol Aktan’s character opposite to actor Burak Deniz.
